SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES (SEND)
Are you a young person with SEND and live in Middlesbrough?

Or the parent/carer of a child with SEND and live in Middlesbrough?

If so MAIN provides your Special Educational Information, Advice and Support Service for SENDISS). This is free, impartial help for children and young people with SEN and/or Disabilities, and for their parents. SENDIASS at MAIN is here to help you make informed decisions around educational choices for children and young people with SEN, from ages 0-25 years. We will do our best to help with other related issues as well, such as health and social care provision.

It is very important that families are fully involved in their child’s education. SENDIASS at MAIN supports parents and carers in building and maintaining positive relationships with their child’s school and the Local Education Authority, so that they feel empowered and fully informed. Children and young people can also contact us directly, and are entitled to independent access to our free, confidential and impartial service.

OPEN DAY

SENDIASS at MAIN will be holding a Drop In at our premises at 16 High Force Road, Riverside Park, Middleborough TS2 1RH on Thursday 16th February between 10 am and 3 pm. Please feel free to call in for a coffee and meet the SENDIASS team and learn about the SENDIASS service.
