Primary PE and Sports Premium
In 2013, the government began providing additional funding of £150 million per annum to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding – provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport – has been allocated to primary school head teachers to improve the quality of, and participation in, Sport and PE for all children. We expect the funding to continue for at least the next few years.
We are very proud of our inclusive PE and sport offer at Priory Woods School. Children have the opportunity to access a wide range of sporting activities to develop and discover new talents through our PE curriculum and wealth of extra-curricular activities, including a wealth of after-school clubs.
